Top 5 Alben 2010

Noch verspäteter als die Jahrescharts von 2009, aber hier sind sie:

5. The Script - Science & Faith
The Script war immer eine Band, die für mich so nebenbei gelaufen ist. Ganz nett, aber nicht unter den Favoriten. Mit dem neuen Album hat sich das geändert. Ganz knapp schnappen sie Secondhand Serenade den Platz in den Top 5 weg und lassen leider auch Matt & Kim keine Chance. Einfach nur ein schönes, ruhiges, aber trotzdem abwechslungsreiches Album, das wahrscheinlich viel zu wenig Aufmerksamkeit bekommen hat.

4. Plain White T's - Wonders of the Yonger
Viele Leute mögen das neue Album nicht. Meine Ohren verstehen das überhaupt nicht, denn sie lieben es. Total ausgewogen, mitreißend, beruhigend, wunderbar. Mir egal wenn kein anderer es mag, dann haben sie es halt nur für mich gemacht.
Nur ein schwaches Lied, alles andere ist ganz großes Tennis, zumindest in meinen Augen, äh..Ohren.

3. Jimmy Eat World - Invented
Jimmy Eat World...irgendwie waren sie immer da, irgendwie hatten sie immer mal ein tolles Lied, irgendwie mochte ich nie ein Album so wirklich. Jetzt, wo viele das neue Album mal nicht mögen, bin ich davon mal schwer begeistert. So ein Ding, dass man ständig von vorne bis hinten durchhören kann ohne die Skip-Taste drücken zu müssen.

2. The Hoosiers - The Illusion of Safety
Nachdem das Vorgängeralbum der Hoosiers mir zwar ganz gut gefallen, mich aber nicht umgehauen hat, hatte ich keine großen Ansprüche an das Nachfolgewerk. Das war vielleicht ein Vorteil für die Jungs, denn dadurch wurde ich so vom Album geflasht, dass es auf Platz 2 abschließen kann. Trotz sehr harter Konkurrenz.

1. Marina And The Diamonds - The Family Jewels
Eines dieser Alben, die man ständig und immer wieder hören kann. Jedes Lied toll. Ich hoffe ja noch, dass dieses Jahr schon ein Nachfolgealbum rauskommt. Kann nur traumhaft werden. Und The Family Jewels konnte nur Platz 1 der Alben Top 5 2010 werden.
