Final Countdown könnte man sagen. Keine 4 Wochen mehr bis zum "Start vom Ende". Ich werd so traurig sein, wenns vorbei ist...

Top 5 Alben 2009

Etwas verspätet, aber besser als nie:

5. Mumford & Sons - Sigh No More
Mit einem tollen Debut-Album (unterstützt durch die Eindrücke eines traumhaften Konzertes in Hamburg) setzen sich Mumford and Sons an die fünfte Position. Ich hoffe auf ein weiteres Album in diesem Jahr (und weitere Live-Shows in HH).


4. The Sounds - Crossing The Rubicon
Nach langem Warten kam in diesem Jahr endlich das lang ersehnte dritte Album der Sounds. Die Erwartungen wurden nicht enttäuscht, somit setzen sich die Schweden auf Rang 4 dieser Liste. Das Konzert (mit Matt & Kim als Vorband) war übrigens die Nummer 1 der Top 5 Konzerte ;).

3. La Roux - La Roux
Wahrscheinlich habe ich in diesem Jahr kein Album öfter von vorne bis hinten durchgehört, als dieses. Lange Zeit ein Anwärter auf den ersten Platz, reicht es hinten raus jedoch nur noch für Platz 3 (aber wer wäre nicht gern auf Platz drei meiner Album Jahres-Top 5?)

2. Animal Kingdom - Signs And Wonders
Mit einem furiosen Endspurt setzen sich die Jungs von Animal Kingdom auf Platz 2. Zum Jahresende das erste Mal gehört, aber sofort ganz weit vorne. Das Album ist einfach ausgewogen, anders und traumschön. Im Auto hören kommt besonders gut.

1. The Killers - Live from the Royal Albert Hall
Im knappen Kampf um die Spitze haben die Killers die Nase vorn. Unterstützt von der sagenhaften Live-DVD setzt sich dieses Album an die Spitze und bleibt da. Wie gerne wäre ich in der Royal Albert Hall dabei gewesen... wenigstens bleiben mir Album/DVD :).

So, auch von Emmy mal ein zweites Video. Ich liebe Musik :D
